| I am considering the Grant Fidelity Reference Tube CD-1000 (Impression II) ,but i cannoy find even 1 true review anywhere.....why not?? |

It was launched at the Montreal Show in April and StereoMojo grabbed it for a review, should be out anytime now as it has been returned. The review unit was sold already and we have now twice sold out of it, based on it being shown and listened to at the Montreal Show (FSI2009). It will be back in stock soon.
It's an amazing CDP !!
Unfortunately only about 1 in 20 customers post their thoughts in public, hopefully some will soon.

We''l be showing it at RMAF and CES this year, so I imagine a few more reviewers will jump in as well. At the Montreal show, it was the first time I had a chance to compare it to the CD-327A, which I did while there was about 5 GF CD-327/427 owners in the room, it took about 30 seconds for everyone to go oh!, including myself and the CD-1000 only had a few hours on it.

In unbalanced the 327 and 427 were very similar, in balanced mode the 427 went to whole new level. Of course you need a balanced pre or integrated to use that feature, since our "performance' series gear was unbalanced we dropped the CD-427. Great player, on occasion they come in on trade or show up in the used market.
Have you rolled in the TJ 12AX7 tubes in your 327 yet?, It is one of the best bang for buck tweaks that really makes you smile.
