i sell vintage. i always state as is. i got a negative rating today because they said the r/h channel was out. i offered to buy it back less shipping.
then i get a guy who has had a unit a month telling me his left channel is blown. he can hear some sound. i asked if he had cleaned it with deoxit. he said no. i offered to buy back less shipping havent heard anymore. then i get the beatles white lp suppose to be vg+. it has a big sratch on one side. i give up today. |

It is usually better to buy and sell vintage from a local dealer, it cost maybe up to 25% more but it works and any problems get sorted easy. I got burned a few times with vintage audio on eBay and stopped. I was doing it for fun and it just turned out to be a headache. Vintage Synths was great fun and I even made a few bucks and recorded them all, much different people you are dealing with.
That Old Retro Shop in Calgary is a great vintage hi-fi shop and they will be one of our new dealers. |
