Hey guys,

Just curious what the difference sonically would be between the P-283 and P-307 used infront of a CDP I am considering picking up the P-283 but if the P-307 will better it by a large margin then I may consider it.

Personally, I'd start with the 283 and see if that works for you. By going with the pre-amp, you are paying for more"stuff" than you might need. It may also depend on what the rest of your system is. If you also use a turntable, then you may as well get the 307 which will offer more versatility than the 283.
