DID SOMEONE TELL YOU THAT RECTIFIERS DON"T MATTER?
TELL THEM TO SELL THEIR GEAR and BUY an IPOD with a DOCKING
STATION!
RECTIFIERS CLEARLY INFLUENCE the REPRODUCTION of SOUND!
HERE ARE SOME AMERICAN ALTERNATIVES TO THE CHINESE 274B in
ORDER of MY PERSONAL PREFERENCE...
CRC-RCA 5R4GY, 5931, (rarer than an Atheist in a Bear market)!, 5U4GB Raytheon 1960's, 5U4GB GE Canada (there's one for you guys...now find some for me)! RCA 5U4G 1940s, 1960s, 1950s (I don't know why they went backwards). Hitachi 5U4GB, RCA 5U4GB 1970s (orange label)...
Will trade...I want to listen to one of those new "se"s for 5 to 12 minutes! |

Have you tried the Shuguang 274B cryo'd? Very nice and inexpensive. I'd also add the TJ Fullmusic 274b to your list as a new production tube, expensive at almost $200, but as with all TJ tubes I have tried, well worth the premium price.
Cheers,

When you cyro...a (re-dacted)...tube...you get a cyro'd...
(re-dacted) tube...
Cyro...a Platinum pair...that's...a different story!
Note: {re-dac ted}; to edit. |
