I'd love a knockoff of the Avantgarde Uno Nano speakers!

Howdy from Jackson Hole!

I love the Avantgarde Duo loudspeakers. Those horns rock! The small size of my house made the dream of owning them forever out of reach. Until recently...

Avantgarde has introduced the Uno Nano, which has a diminuative footprint and yet give that Avantgarde horn majesty: http://www.avantgarde-acoustic.de/hornlautsprecher_einleitung.php?produkt=nano&produkt_id=12&t=einleitung
Trouble is, they list at $16,000.

Do you know of any Chinese horn speakers using the BIG horn design?

Any chance Grant Fidelity would consider a thriftier version?

Happy Trails!

Hi Chris,

I hear you Smile. I love the sound of a big horn design too. We took some pics of some horns we liked at the last Chinese High-End Audio show.

Nothing in the plans for this year, but maybe next year. Btw, the ShengYa V series wood horns are doing almost the same thing as the big horns, not quite but close and WAF is much much higher Smile

Cheers,
Ian

Wow Ian!

Thanks for posting pictures of the show. Chinese audio has certainly come a long way from the early days of Antique Sound Lab!

As for large horn speakers, I'm not thinking of large corner sitting hulks needed a room the size of a gymnasium... I'm thinking of genuinely large horns on speakers with a diminuitive footprint.

The picture you posted of one you'll soon be importing: http://grantfidelity.com/site/node/639
is getting there.

While I'm saving up $, I continue to be delighted with my Cain & Cain Abby's with matching sub.

I like what you're doing and will pass your site info off to friends.

Happy Trails!

Chris
