What is Grant Fidelity Direct Club (GFDC)? 

Grant Fidelity Direct Club (GFDC) is created to maximize the benefit of Internet shopping. Although high end audio has historically been sold through specialty stores, in the past few years, we have seen more and more customers are getting comfortable in utilizing professional reviews on audio gear to make their final purchase decision. For these consumers, since you no longer need the specialty store's services, it's logical to pass the savings in the supply chain to you and help you to enjoy the audio hobby at affordable price. 

Grant Fidelity Direct Club (GFDC) is open to every CONSUMER who DOES NOT request dealer service in purchasing products that Grant Fidelity carry. It is UNETHICAL AND UNFAIR to use an audio dealer's service to audition a piece of equipment but turn around to purchase directly on Internet to bypass dealers who have provided you convenience, valuable advice, space to audition and friendly personal services. If a customer is found out to have used dealer service but purchase directly from Grant Fidelity, your membership will be permanently removed and will never been restored under any circumstance. 

How to become a Grant Fidelity Direct Club (GFDC) member? 

1) If you have purchased a product from Grant Fidelity, you are automatically qualified to be a Grant Fidelity Direct Club (GFDC) VIP member. Your membership card will be mailed to you along your next purchase with us and your VIP membership discount will be applied to your next purchase. Just email us before you make the payment for your purchase - we will send you an invoice with correct discount applied to the final amount. 

2) If you have purchased over US$5000 value of products from Grant Fidelity in the past 2 years (2008 and 2009), you are automatically qualified to be a Grant Fidelity Direct Club (GFDC) VIP Gold member. Your membership card will be mailed to you along your next purchase with us and your VIP Gold membership discount will be applied to your next purchase. Just email us before you make the purchase - we will send you an invoice with correct discount applied to the final amount. 

3) If you have never purchased anything from Grant Fidelity in the past and may do so in the future, you can obtain your VIP membership for US$2.99 only. Please click the "Buy Now" button above to make your purchase. We will send you an email in 24 hours upon receiving your payment along with your card number. Your actual card will be sent to you in 5 business days to the address you have provided when you make payment. Make sure your shipping is current and accurate!  

4) VIP Gold membership is not for sale - it is meant only to be earned through accumulated purchase in the amount of over US$5000 directly with Grant Fidelity, not including purchase at dealers and excluding tax, shipping and any returns).

Membership Benefits (the most important part :) 

1) VIP membership holders receive 15% off MSRP on all qualified tangible new products listed on Grant Fidelity website (www.grantfidelity.com) except those excluded from the Direct Club offering (see list below). The discount is on MSRP, not on promotional price or any special offer price. Each product on Grant Fidelity website has an MSRP price listed in US$. Please read carefully. 

2) VIP Gold membership holders receive 25% off MSRP on all qualified tangible new products listed on Grant Fidelity website (www.grantfidelity.com) except those excluded from the Direct Club offering (see list below). Again The discount is on MSRP, not on promotional price or any special offer price. Each product on Grant Fidelity website has an MSRP price listed in US$. Please read carefully. 

3) If a GFDC member (either VIP or VIP Gold) hasn't made any purchase within 24 months from the last purchase date, his/her membership will expire and will only be re-activated as a VIP member, not VIP Gold member, through a new purchase. 

3) If a VIP Gold member has accumulated total purchase over US$15,000 during a continuous card activation period, the VIP Gold membership discount will be improved to a percentage discount larger than 25%. We will notify such a VIP Gold member individually by email. 

4) Above mentioned discount only applies to physical products, not including shipping, services, extended warranties and any intangible purchase.  

5) When a product is on sale or has special offer on it, Grant Fidelity Direct Club members are entitled to the lower price of either the sale / special offer, or the membership discounted price. No double dipping, no discount on discount :) 

6) For the time being, products excluded from Grant Fidelity Direct Club discount include:

• TJ Full Music tubes (they are fragile to ship and we only receive dealer pricing from TJ factory so no room for further discount)
• Shuguang Treasure Premium Grade B tubes (these are purchased from Shuguang for the same price as Grade A but since Grant Fidelity grade them ourselves and applied significant discount to Grade B over Grade A already, we cannot offer further discount on these tubes).
• Shuguang generic clear glass tubes (these are provided more for warranty services than for distribution and price is low enough already, we cannot discount them further without compromising quality. )
• Demos, review returns, used or refurbished items - these are sold as-is at listed sale price only. No other discount applicable. 
• Other items as mentioned on individual product listing pages. 

Terms, Conditions, and How-to's: 

1) No GFDC members should use dealer service then turnaround to bypass dealer to purchase directly from Grant Fidelity. Grant Fidelity will exchange information with dealers periodically and members who default on this term will be permanently removed from the Club member list. It is an extremely unethical behavior to take advantage of dealer service but take your business somewhere else later on simply to save your own money at other people's expenses. Grant Fidelity supports its dealers as they provide valuable services that we cannot provide over internet and we will do everything to protect our dealer's legitimate interest. 

2) If you feel that you need dealer service to audition a piece of equipment, we encourage you to make a reasonable deal with your dealer but keep in mind to respect their efforts as they provide irreplaceable and valuable service to you. You should NOT ask the dealer to provide you the same discount as the GFDC membership discount, because GFDC is meant for self-service online customers - i.e. you will do your own research on products and may ask Grant Fidelity directly for assistance in making final purchase decision. When you purchase online, we understand that you are taking some risks when make payment sight-unseen and you could lose shipping charges if you have to return the purchase later on. We hope that the membership discount will compensate some of such risks you have taken and in turn reward you for your trust to Grant Fidelity. 

3) Each membership has an unique card number - we can replace your card with a new number if it is lost or stolen. Please contact us for assistance if such an incidence happens. 

4) Membership is not transferable. Your email, along with your name on your payment record, shipping address and phone number together form your membership identification. Although we don't have the same verification rules as credit card companies have, we will use plenty of common sense to verify a card membership's validity. If your friend would like to enjoy your membership benefits, ask him/her to get his/her own. After all, it's only $2.99 to start :) 

5) If you changed your email, address or phone number, let us know when you make your new purchase while using the membership. We do not expect you to change all three piece of information at the same time - it sounds like a change of identity then we may not recognize you anymore :) 

6) Before our website shopping cart gets smart enough to handle everything automatically, if you don't see the membership discount applies to your purchase properly, email us at grantfidelity@gmail.com to request an invoice with discount properly applied. We will be looking into upgrading our website shopping cart to a smarter one in the next few months. In the interim, please bear with us - we will do everything possible to make your purchase as easy as possible. 

7) If our website screws up with a wrong calculation in discount (technology errors do happen, such as applying discount to unqualified items :), Grant Fidelity reserves the final right to correct the billing and request payment for any shortfall before the order can be fulfilled. 

8) You must present your valid membership card number when making a purchase to receive the discount. We cannot retro apply discount to your purchase once the payment has been made (it will create a big headache to our book keeping department :), but a store credit for equivalent amount to the discount can be issued for your future use. 

9) Please feel free to spread words for us to your internet shopping friends, co-workers, associates and family members. Together you help us to keep high end products not high priced. That's our goal for the business and it will benefit many music lovers. No one should be broke in order to enjoy good music on a good system. 

10) Grant Fidelity reserves the ultimate right to interpret and modify the membership benefits as we see fit to make it reasonable and financial feasible for all parties. You are our valued customer and we would like to treat you well and fair without us being broke :)
