The Droplet LP3.1 is designed to offer most of the Forbidden City Liu qualities in a smaller package. As a surprisingly affordable version of the award winning Droplet LP 5.0 turntable, the turntable inherited the precision stainless steel bearing, German AC motor drive system from the Droplet LP 5.0 turntable, and one-piece machined black acrylic platter from LIU, only fitted with smaller Droplet shaped Multilayer sub chassis to offer an amazing value for the money. 

Highly recommended to be packaged with Opera's ST-100 or T988 Tonearm (ST100 to be discontinued and replaced by new T988 Tonearm).

Followed with Liu's concept of structure, double graphite rings hold the spindle bearing, of both the Droplet LP3.1 turntable & tone-arm, working as a sandwich hard damping system. The whole system sits on 3 stainless steel adjustable balancing feet to ensure the deck is precisely level.

Stainless steel bearing achieved watch grade precision(± 0.1mm ) and finish. It's a floatation bearing design that suspends the platter on a high rigidity industrial ceramic ball bearing and a highly rigid industrial ceramic cushion to reduce friction.
