Shuguang is the oldest and largest tube manufacturer in China, established in 1958 by engineers educated and trained in the United States in the 30-40s. Initially the company is named as a numbered company to service military but changed name to Shuguang in 1965. Shuguang's vacuum tube production accounts for the world's 40% total tube output nowadays, either under their own brand "Shuguang" or under OEM brands.
