Grant Fidelity 12-month Limited Warranty (included in purchase price)


Except vacuum tubes, all NEW products listed on Grant Fidelity website will carry 1-year limited warranty against Manufacture's defects from the date of original purchase. 

First 90 days: Grant Fidelity provides parts and labor warranty plus one-way shipping

Except vacuum tubes, all products listed on Grant Fidelity website will carry 90 days parts and labor warranty from Grant Fidelity. We will drop the MSRP listing price to reflect such a warranty policy change. Customer will pay for sending the warrantable product to Grant Fidelity repair center(s) as instructed, and Grant Fidelity will pay for returning repaired product back to the customer. 

91st day to 12-months: Grant Fidelity provides parts warranty only

After initial 90 days parts and labor warranty, Grant Fidelity will continue providing warrantable parts free-of-charge (but not free shipping) for up to 12-months from the original purchase date. Customer will be responsible for paying for all repair labor services by either selecting their own repair technician at their local market or using Grant Fidelity's own repair services. Grant Fidelity will provide schematics to the technician at request to facilitate the product repairs. Customer will also be responsible for round-way shipping charges of sending their products to the repair place and return. 

If for unforseeable reasons, the required product parts become no longer available after the initial 90 days warranty, Grant Fidelity will offer customers an option to trade-in the to-be-repaired unit towards a purchase of a different product model. Please note that Grant Fidelity, as a distributor for the Chinese manufacturers that we work with, do not have 100% control of parts availability from China, but we will help customers to resolve any issues to our best efforts. 

One year and forward: 1-year limited warranty is no longer valid. 

After 12-months from the original purchase date, Grant Fidelity warranty automatically expires. All products repair parts and labor costs are to be paid by the customer. Shipping products to a repair technician will be at customers' cost, so does the return shipping to customer's address. As a valued added service, Grant Fidelity will make the best efforts to provide technical support for repair and services at this point of time. 

If you have purchased a 24-36 months extended warranty within 90 days of your original purchase, your extended warranty will starts on the 91st day and extended warranty conditions will apply. 

The above limited 1-year warranty is subject to the following conditions:

1. Above Grant Fidelity warranty policy is only applicable to the purchase of brand new products directly from Grant Fidelity. For brand new products purchased from Grant Fidelity's authorized dealers/demonstrators, please consult the dealer/demonstrator's warranty policy at your time of purchase. Demos, clearance or on-sale item has limited warranty for no more than 90 days parts and labor, or as per the specific listings at the time of sale - whichever is shorter/less. 

2. Above Grant Fidelity warranty policy is only applicable to the original owner of the product. Warranty is not transferable to used equipment owner or 2nd owner even if the product is sealed in the original box. 

3. Above Grant Fidelity warranty policy is only applicable to purchase within Canada and USA. International customers from outside of North America will not receive free one-way shipping during the first 90 days warranty period. 

4. The Warranty is void and inapplicable in the event that

  • The product has been misused, mishandled, abused, or damaged by accident or during shipping or has not been operated as per instructions provided by the product manual (either posted on Grant Fidelity website or in printed materials with the product packaging).
  • The defect is not categorized as manufacturer's defects or has been caused by repair / modification / tampering, accidents, unreasonable use or lack of necessary maintenance.
  • The defect is caused by natural deterioration of wooden parts or surfaces
  • The original serial number has been erased or removed
  • The products have been used for commercial purpose other than home use
  • Consumers swap vacuum tubes which do not have identical specification as the stock tubes, or installing faulty tubes resulting in damages to the vacuum tubes or the equipment itself 

4. When shipping a product to Grant Fidelity, customer is responsible for purchasing adequate shipping insurance to cover potential damages or losses in transit. 

5. Grant Fidelity and its related manufacturers reserve the right to modify the product design from time to time without obligation to notify previous purchasers. Grant Fidelity also has the absolute right to discontinue a product without notice or obligation to any party including its dealers/demonstrators or direct customers.  

6. The above limited warranty is null and void in the event of the original product manufacturer is no longer in business or has discontinued supplying warranty parts or services to Grant Fidelity, or Grant Fidelity has ceased doing business with the original product manufacturer.

7. Exclusive remedy: Any implied warranty related to products purchased from Grant Fidelity shall be limited to the duration of the 1-year limited warranty and Grant Fidelity reserves the right to repair, replace or refund at its sole discretion. Under no circumstances Grant Fidelity is liable for any consequential or incidental damages or losses.


Why does Grant Fidelity price only includes 12-month warranty but not longer? 

In order to answer this question, we need to take a closer look of product price struture: 

All consumer product's price will need to include the following to ensure proper distribution and after-sale service: 

  • Manufacturing cost
  • Shipping cost from factory to destination market (North America)
  • Duties, taxes and other government levies for importing goods to destination market
  • Calculated shipping damages / loss or other unexpected expenses
  • Product warranty cost (estimated spare parts / labor / shipping etc at destination market during the warranty period
  • Shipping cost from distributor to dealer then to consumers
  • Distributor's desired gross profit margin 
  • Dealers desired gross profit margin

Since our starting date, Grant Fidelity has been focusing on streamlining our distribution process to minimize other cost components, in order to keep the products affordable to consumers. For all products distributed by Grant Fidelity, when compared to same performance products from North America or Europe, their retail prices (MSRP) have been set at at least 25% lower than competition's retail price. We then take out dealer markup from the MSRP to get to our direct sale price, since Grant Fidelity offers internet direct sale without any other middleman. 

After taking out dealer markup, Grant Fidelity further en-power consumers by letting consumers to decide if they want warranty longer than 12-months. 

We will let our customers to take control of their product warranty cost at time of purchase and only pay for it if they feel they actually need the extended warranty service.  No more upfront payment for extended warranty included in the retail price to everyone! This warranty pay-as-you-go approach will make our products even more affordable at the time of purchase so that you can get your dream gear sooner.

Please be rest assured that the consumer enpowerment approach will not reduce Grant Fidelity service level - it simply let consumers to have more control of their purchase price and only pay for services when they actually need it. 

According to industry statistics, most electronics with manufacturer defects will show the defects in the first 90 days of use. Our 1-year limited warranty policy has covered all parts and labor plus even one-way shipping expenses during this critical 90 days period of time.

Special warranty condition on Tube rolling: Tube rolling refers the activities that a consumer takes to use another make or model of tubes in place of the original tubes provided with the equipment. Tube rolling is strictly at customers own risk since we have no way to verify consumer's equipment design or condition. Grant Fidelity only provides comments on the sonic attributes of tube selection from our own experience - this may not apply specifically to your own equipment. It is up to the customer to ensure that the tubes perform properly in their equipment and to ensure that precautions are made to protect their equipment. Grant Fidelity assumes no responsibility for any damages caused by rolling tubes.
