Warranty & Shipping

Products listed on this website are available for shipping primarily to Canada and the USA. Certain products might be available for shipping to other countries outside of this region. If you are not in USA and Canada and interested in placing an order for one of our products, please use the contact us form to reach out to us to confirm.

For heavy amplifiers, we suggest you budget for at least US$16 per kg for international air shipping. Please note this is an estimate only and doesn’t include your own country’s tax and import duty charges. Extra crating package will add to total shipping weight in addition to the product weight itself. However, this extra packaging is absolutely necessary for safe shipping and handling of fragile heavy amplifiers.

Grant Fidelity branded:

Warranty of All ‘new in box’ products bearing ‘Grant Fidelilty’ brand is provided by Grant Fidelity in Canada. 12-month on audio equipment. 90 days on vacuum tubes.

Manufacturers branded:

Factory 12-months parts warranty is provided and administrated by Grant Fidelity.

Labor Warranty of all manufacturers Factory-Direct drop shipping products in western countries is NOT provided by Grant Fidelity and not included in our product listing price, unless otherwise stated.

However, after receiving delivery of your order, please contact us to receive factory provided schematics for your future repair needs.

Tube audio equipment usually can be serviced by reputable tube amp service technicians in western countries. If special parts are needed from the manufacturers, we will coordinate the request on behalf of you but parts cost / shipping will be born by yourself. Please note we are not able to control and / or guarantee availability of parts from factories, especially after certain number of years when products have been discontinued. But we will at least do our best to try with the factory for you.

Shipping related damages must be reported to us within 3 days of receiving delivery, along with claim reports filed with carrier, and supported by dated photos.

SHIPPING

Audio Equipment:

Unless otherwise specified, audio equipment once ordered from our webstore (i.e. order has been paid in full) will be produced by manufacturer typically with 2-3 weeks lead time, especially those with custom 115V for North America. Then the order will be drop shipped from manufacturers to non-Canadian buyers’ confirmed addresses directly, without passing through our location in Canada. Carrier tracking numbers will be provided once available.

Canadian orders have options to first arrive to our location in Alberta then forward on, or directly to buyers’ confirmed addresses. Canadian orders are subject to GST/HST when applicable.

Vacuum Tubes:

Vacuum tubes currently are all shipped from our location in Alberta, Canada to worldwide. Read more details on tube shipping policy on our vacuum tube website.

Shipping Cost:

Factory direct orders (i.e. orders that are custom produced upon customer placing order with us, and shipped from the manufacturer’s location directly to buyer’s address) are subject to shipping surcharges – including international air freight, on-demand wood crate for safe handling, accidental lost insurance etc. This total surcharge amount will be quoted upon customer providing their delivery address, before an order is finalized and paid.

Orders shipped directly from our existing inventory in Alberta, Canada by ground service is free of charge. Please note that majority audio equipment is available by ‘factory direct order’ only. We only stock accessories such as audio cables in our location in Alberta, Canada.

International Duty and Tax:

Non-Canadian Buyers are responsible for paying their own countries’ import duty and sales taxes, if assessed and requested by your country’s customs. Unless otherwise indicated on the product listing, duty and tax cannot be rebated.

All Canadian orders are only subject to retail GST/HST as if you are buying at a local retail store. Grant Fidelity will pay all import duty and tax to Canadian customs when shipments arrive into Canada. If courier made a mistake to collect such fees from Canadian buyers, please pay the amount, take delivery and keep the receipt. We will refund the full amount upon you send us a .pdf file of the customs charges.

Factory Direct = No Return nor Refund, but with factory warranty:

All ‘factory-direct-drop-shipping’ purchases are final sale with no return nor refund – i.e no change of mind once order is placed. You are welcome to ask all questions needed before placing orders, but there is no ‘change of mind’ after purchase. Please consider carefully before making a ‘factory direct’ order. It cannot be reversed once order is placed with overseas manufacturers.

By placing an order on our website, it is deemed that you have read the above, and fully in consent of our shipping terms. There is no re-negotiation after an order is placed.
