Who are we?

Grant Fidelity is a private business located in Alberta, Canada.

It was originally established in 2006 by Rachel together with her late business partner Ian Grant who sadly passed away from lung cancer in July 2014. Today the business is managed by Rachel, with her over 25+ years of experience in International Business, Finance, as well as High Fidelity Audio related to both Chinese and western markets.

Where were we before?

Grant Fidelity had deep roots in bringing affordable Chinese Hi-Fi (aka Chi-Fi on internet) with ‘Quality + Integrity’ to the western market. We have served thousands of customers worldwide since 2006.

Grant Fidelity used to carry a wide range of audio equipment from elite Chinese manufacturers pre-2012. With Ian’s illness and cost changes with ‘Made-in-China’ HiFi products in the past years, some products have been phased out over time.

Where are we now?

Today, with more and more trade barriers across borders worldwide, Grant Fidelity has mostly ceased importing Chinese audio equipment for resale in North America, except vacuum tubes (sold on our dedicated website www.PremiumVacuumTubes.com). The high cross-border trade costs for high cost audio components, coupled with tariffs, value added taxes, and post-sale service costs etc have largely made it no longer making financial sense.
